OUR VISION
We are a non-governmental organization that brings together enthusiastic people who believe in the power of education on the path toward positive change. We aim to raise awareness among the local population about the importance of a healthy environment and its impact on the quality of life of individuals and the community. By finding common ground between communities, investors, and institutions, we seek to create a driving force for the sustainable development of the economy and society. Our vision is the integration of humans and human activities into the natural environment, while respecting biodiversity and protecting and improving the quality of water, air, and soil as the foundation for healthy living and survival.
WHO WE ARE?
Maja Popović was born and completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka. She completed her master studies in England and Norway, after what she spent about ten years living in Germany and working in the automotive industry. As a great lover of simple life in harmony with natural laws and after volunteering in various environmental protection projects, she decided to pursue a job that will contribute more to the society. She left her job and returned to her hometown of Banja Luka. There, she began working for the Foundation, driven by her strong belief in change and the power of knowledge and human innate kindness. She loves practicing yoga, growing fruits and vegetables, and spending time with her family, friends and her dogs Buk and Silk 😊
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milica Vujović is a research scholar and academic practitioner at TU Wien in Vienna, Austria. Her work is centered on the relationship between humans and the built environment. Her research and teaching focus on the application of data science in architecture, exploring how computational methods, environmental data, and human behavioral insights can inform the design of more responsive, sustainable, and user-centered environments. Her academic contributions include mentoring students and leading research projects that advance evidence-based methodologies and support innovation across disciplines concerned with the interaction between people and their surroundings.
